Besides your work email, Slack is the app you always have open and pushing you notifications to keep up to date with everything and anything.

Image this – Ahead of the working day and before you have even checked the daily calendar, wouldn’t it be awesome to get the daily schedule straight to the Slack channel so that everybody knows who is and who is not?

Well, CakeHR have just done that!

CakeHR’s daily “out of office” reminders are pushed every morning to Slack with real-time updates when a request is accepted for the same day.

Getting Started with Slack Integration

It is super easy to integrate your account and there are many ways to do so.

1) From the CakeHR integration found in the Slack Marketplace, simply click Configure against your team’s account

2) Inside the channel you wish to receive notifications, select the options “cog” and then “Add an app or integration”

3) You can also head inside the CakeHR Settings to configure the Slack integration

It is as simple as that! Two awesome tools, working together.

If you do not currently use Slack, jump on the bandwagon. For everybody else, head to your Slack app or sign in to CakeHR and access the integration Settings to increase your office’s efficiency.
